Let me be honest and break this down for you.  Students applying to UCs and other Top 100 colleges will need 4 essays for UCs and 1 Personal Statement for the Common Application. PLUS, each college on the Common App will require 2-4 additional supplemental essays. The number of essays quickly adds up to 8, 28, and as many as 48. No joke!

We teach our Core 4 Signature essays to ensure students can retool, repurpose, and reuse for all applications.

Common Application/ Private Colleges:

• Personal Statement required at a maximum of 650 words.
• Each college may require 1-4 additional supplemental essay(s).

University of California Application:

• UCs require 4 essays at a maximum of 350 words each.
• No letters of recommendation are allowed for UCs, making the essays key to getting admitted.

• YES. The Common application prompts have not changed this year. AND, they have added one optional question regarding COVID.
• YES. The University of California prompts have not changed this year.
• YES. We have a list of supplemental questions from some of the most popular colleges.
• YES. Students leave with a completed chart of each UC and Common App prompt and insert the essay topic they produced that answers that question.

We use the built-in classroom platform directly from our website. Each student connects using their personal resource library each day.

This allows students from across the country to join us and experience the classroom environment. Log in when class begins, participate LIVE, and do all the activities right along with all students.

Google Docs allows our writing coaches to see how our students are progressing in real-time.

ALL students have access to all the amenities as if we were in class together; personal writing coach for the week, small group sessions, personalized feedback at every draft, goal setting, daily accountability, and completion of 2-8 essays.

Here is the “Camper” Agreement:

1. I agree to follow the Step-by-Step essay curriculum that has been teen-proofed and battle-tested for over a decade.
2. On Day 1, I will set and declare my goals of how many essays I will complete.
3. I will ask questions when I get stuck.
4. I am committed to writing during class hours to avoid having homework.
5. I will utilize the daily personalized feedback to draft, edit, and redraft my essays until they are given final approval!
6. I have my happy dance playlist ready to go for the end of my essay camp!
7. I will have fun, celebrate all the victories along the way, and eat ice cream.

Tuition for College Essay Bootcamp will be fully refunded, minus a $100 service fee, up to 4 weeks prior to the selected Bootcamp session start date. If canceled 2 weeks prior to your selected session start date, 50% tuition will be refunded, minus a $100 service fee. If you cancel less than 2 weeks prior to your session start date, there is no tuition refund, as we will be unable to replace your teen's spot on such short notice.
